Abstract
How can the potential for data science to change an industry be described fully to those who don’t understand its potential? How can those who understand its potential achieve it without fully understanding the industry?
Delivered to an audience of practising veterinarians, this talk explored the opportunities for truly data-driven decisions on dairy herds, and finished with some real-life case studies of how advanced data science techniques helped to answer otherwise unanswerable questions.
